Redeemers of Fashion- BCBG Max Azria and Erin Fetherston

Fashion means a little more than just clothing, it illustrates how you look and how you feel Fashion designers foresee patterns and trends to be followed and attempt to achieve a different good looking thing that suit the most common person which is aesthetically depictive. They have a wide range of thoughts put on cloth. Some clothes are made specifically for an individual, as in the case of haute couture or bespoke tailoring. Today, most clothing is designed for the mass market, especially casual and every-day wear. Max Azria is a French fashion designer, who founded the contemporary women’s clothing brand BCBG Max Azria, launched in 1989 named for the French phrase “bon chic, bon genre” meaning “good style, good attitude”. He is also the designer, chairman and CEO of BCBG Max Azria Group, a global fashion house that encompasses over 20 brands, based in Los Angeles.

 

Max Azria marked to be the first American designer producing three major fashion shows during one New York Fashion Week as he presented BCBG Max Azria Runway, Max Azria and Hervé Léger by Max Azria. He introduced a contemporary collection for the youth called BCBGeneration and teamed up with Miley Cyrus to create a line for Walmart called Miley Cyrus & Max Azria. Azria also designed clothing for Cyrus’ 2009 American tour.

Their boutiques are around 550 around the globe, including settings in London, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Azria’s collections are also sold in specialty stores and major department stores across the globe, including Nordstrom,Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, the UK’s Harvey Nichols, Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford, Taiwan’s Mitsukoshi and Singapore’s Takashimaya stores.

Eva Herzigova, Karen Elson and Jessica Stam are some of the regularly featured models of the campaigns of the company and also recurrently works with photographers that are globally renowned like  Patrick Demarchelier, Paolo Roversi and David Sims. BCBG Max Azria, is also featured in Vogue, InStyle and Vanity Fair, and in online sites such as Style.com and iFashion Network which are known to be the major fasion publications.

An American designer from San Francisco, graduated from UC Berkeley before attending Parson’s School of Design in Paris is no riddle. It is Erin Fetherston who in 2005 presented her eponymous label during the Paris Haute Couture Shows. Womanly, fancy and amorous are the trademark of Fetherston’s collection earning the committed and loyal celebrities.

In 2007, Fetherston moved to New York City where she displayed her off the peg collection during New York City Fashion Week. Also known for her multi-media projects, Erin Fetherston created short films and photographic works in tandem with photographer Ellen Von Unwerth featuring Kirsten Dunst, Zooey Deschanel and Karen Elson. Fetherston was forenamed a guest designer and creative consultant for the brand Juicy Couture. Her official site does not only hold in the casual garments for every specific season, but also her collection for wedding (for the bride as well as the bridesmaid) and all type of outfits with specifications mentioned. Such fashion designers have helped keep an uptrend in the ‘forever in demand’ fashion trend.
